Going through this study with a small group at Pip n Jay was a pivotal time in my faith journey. It gave me a picture of what it could mean to live a much more committed, purposeful life in Jesus, while church on its own could seem a bit irrelevant.

It is worth taking this study slowly - covering maybe one or two "days" each week of group study, because there is so much to process and discuss.

Review thoughts

Good points A very accessible, God-centred, bible-fuelled and story-full treatment of what it means to be a disciple of Jesus. A reader can expect to be empowered and inspired, however long they have been a Christian.
Bad points As a personal study, it can be frustrating - it needs processing with other people and putting into practice to avoid being an unhelpful temporary inspiration which could lead to disappointment.
