"Our mission is to bring children into a living faith in Jesus and nurture, disciple and encourage them in their walk."

We meet Sunday mornings and provide teaching in a loving and friendly environment. There is a creche for children under the age of 3 years, and teaching for children up to 14 years of age.

We have recently started using new Children's Ministry work books, and also purchased a laptop and projector which are shared between several classes. We are fortunate to have sufficient teachers and rooms to provide separate teaching for the following age groups:

  • Creche - Rosemarie Taylor, Brittany & Jeanette Hall & Myra Kettlety
  • Busy Bees (pre school and reception) - Rita Allen, Sue Evans & Kelly Bowerman
  • Super Specials ( school years 1-4) - Sheila March, Geraldine Matthews & Hilary Lang
  • Ice Cream Sundays (school years 5- 8) - Jen Harrison, Jess Lewis & Vicky MacPherson
  • C.I.R.C.L.E.S. (schools year 9 +) - Tony Allen, Angela Stillwell & Charlie Gardiner.

We believe that children are part of God's family and should spend some time in church with adults as they worship and learn about following Jesus. So children stay in church for the first 5-10 minutes and then go off to Sunday Club. They also rejoin their parents for the monthly Communion at the "Peace."

Once a term we have a mini-session where the young people spend the Sunday club time together. The focus at these sessions has been on our missionaries.  We aim to teach the children that giving to missions is a part of our Christian way of life. We encourage the children to give some money each week and choose projects which are relevant to them.  We are currently collecting money for bricks for the Baby House to support Caroline Thomas one of the Sunday Club's previous pupil.
