Jesus and Life - weekend away Nov 2009
From 13-15 November 2009, students and young adults from Pip n Jay went away together for a weekend of getting closer to God and each other. This teaching, looking at Jesus, formed part of the weekend. Our desire was to make less of our own plans, and start to be more engaged with God's work as we grow relationships with him, each other and our neighbours.
As Pip n Jay seeks a new leader and goes through a time of change, we are finding ourselves continually drawn to prayer. It is vital that we spend time listening and talking to God, and this Bible study series looks at other people who have done that. What can we learn from their stories?
Pip n Jay's vision is "Growing up and growing out, together." So what does this mean in practice? This series of talks from Pip n Jay's Sunday evenings in 2009 presents ideas, encouragement and challenges as we apply our faith to everyday life.
Through autumn and winter 2009, Pip n Jay teaching is focusing on Paul's letter to the Ephesians. We are going to find out more about Jesus and what he is doing with us as a church.
