Speak up!

We are looking for people who can be heard. A service is improved if there are more than one or two people at the front. We are looking to create a list of names of people who can speak well into a microphone to do readings, prayers, notices and intercessions. The Pip n Jay church survey – the results

Last year we undertook a survey of the church membership to ascertain their views of a variety of aspects of our church life. Thank you for your time in filling them out. We have gone through the results and have identified a number of issues that are being addressed. We are looking at all-age services to see how we can build on the excellent legacy. We are looking at the evening services to make them more relevant to the entire congregation rather than a small minority. We are considering ways to enhance the music and the choice of songs. Finally we are looking at developing a teaching plan that will build up the fellowship to achieve our mission of growing up and growing out together. We know that we have a long way to go.

Are you a leader?

We are all getting older. OK some have stood the test of time better than others but nevertheless we are advancing slowly through the years. This means that at some state we will need to be replaced. That in turn means that we need to have replacements ready to step in. If you feel that your ministry or talent lies in some form of leadership role we would love to hear from you. All we ask is a bit of humility, a dash of common sense and oodles of passion to see Pip n Jay deliver for God. Interested? Then see Rob Hook or the Wardens and they will pass on the message.
