Outreach is continuing on many fronts, and there are also many new initiatives that have either recently started or are in the planning stage.

These are just some of the activities undertaken and key points for prayer:

• Use of the Alpha course
• Healing On The Streets
• Little Pips - toddlers club
• Several young adults continuing to move into the parish area, with the intention of increasing our influence in The Dings area, and living in and contributing to our local community (e.g. involvement . interest in Dings Community Association / local issues).
• Opening church during the week (Johnny Owen & Bern Leckie currently meeting for prayer on the subject on Tuesday lunchtimes in church – please contact them if you want to join them).
• Geoff Haskett in his role as governor at Hannah More (local school).
• A group investigating more effective use of the arts in our outreach.
• Ladies outreach ministry focussed on local workers
• Schools work (assemblies)
• Open air campaign team

Also, do be aware of outreach options for small groups including:

• Use of Journey's: Exploring faith in 21st Century. This is a Willow Creek 5 week course, which is a testimony based pre-alpha style course that can be run in small groups.
• Besom is an organisation providing support for Christian groups who wish to do practical work / help for those who need help (e.g. clearing gardens, painting rooms etc.... Check out www.besominbristol.com for more information or call Charlie on 07504 560086
• Running an alpha course in your small group.
